WOLFESS (8) ran right on by WINSTON (3) when they met at Caulfield Heath a month ago, coming from midfield over 1800m to win by 1.5 lengths. Winston has had another run since then, proving too good at Kilmore as favourite. Wolfess only meets Winston 0.5kg worse at the weights for beating him fairly easily and can improve again. Both have claims but Wolfess goes on top. HANAFUBUKI (7) was big odd fresh at Caulfield Heath but ran very well for third, with the extra trip to suit much better. She can often leave herself with a bit too much to do but has good each way claims again. RICK'S CAFE (6) is racing consistently without winning, trying hard behind Station One in the Traralgon Cup last time. She's in the mix again. FAM GORMAN (4) could be an improved at odds third up from a spell.
