Another very tough maiden with plenty of win chances and some well educated first starters. UPOLU (8) ran very well on debut when well in the market, lifting strongly to just miss. Better for it and should be tough to hold out again. DRECK (3) is another who ran well on debut in the same race as Upolu, finishing a length behind him. Improver who can measure up. BURLEIGH (2) is a little more seasoned and bursting to win with placings at all three this time in. Goes forward and gives a sight but found one better last time. Tricky gate here but will be in this for a long way. UNDER CONTROL (14) wound up strongly to place on debut and will appreciate the early pressure here. Has a wide gate to overcome but suspect will be saved for one last shot. JUST MY LOT (9) ran a better race second-up and fitter again for this. Drawn for a soft run and could be over the odds.
