TURF GAZETTE (5) started at $41 first-up over 1100m at Beaudesert but did better than expected, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth after travelling just off the pace throughout. Back in good shape and looks a chance in this thin maiden. FLYING VISION (9) is yet to fill a placing in six career runs. Came from well back to finish just 3.5 lengths away when resuming over 1100m at Beaudesert last time out. Went about four lengths slower than Turf Gazette on the same program. Improved second-up last prep which brings her under consideration. STAR OF ASCOT (1) gets a pass for his first run in 15 months at Beaudesert recently. Can improve sharply. FOXY ARTIST (11) should be ready to find peak form at the third run back.
