Pedro Neto opened the scoring early for Liverpool in the 3rd minute following some good work by Raúl Jiménez. After going down 1-0, Sadio Mané retaliated in the 24th minute. Mohamed Salah then completed the comeback from the early deficit with a tiebreaking score in the 84th minute. Andrew Robertson netted one more for Liverpool in the 89th which cemented their victory.
