Hard to go past ESSENTRIC NATURE (1) who has been in sparkling form with two wins on end. Has been winding up hard and proving too strong. Despite the extra weight Pike sticks and will be tough to beat again. BE BARDOT (4) returned with a big win fresh over the same trip with Pike aboard. The in-form Fiore goes on today and can only be fitter. Should be in the finish again. HERE FOR CHEQUES (6) came from well back and finished third behind Essentric Nature when fresh from a spell. Meets the winner 2kg better and could well turn the tables. BRAVE SPIRIT (2) was well off best fresh but has placed 3/4 when second-up and expecting big improvement. CORRECT CHOICE (8) resumes and is suited this trip fresh. Drawn well and worth keeping safe.
