CORPS D'ELITE (5) went up to challenge on the home turn here 12 days ago and looked like she was going to run a drum before peaking on her effort late, finishing midfield, but not far off the winner. She will be a lot sharper now, and with a nice swing in her draw, she can take this out. AKENEHI (6) has recently changed stables and joins the Terri Rae yard, which normally has instant results with similar types. She showed enough when trained in the North Island, and should pick up another win at short notice. PRETTY FLY (3) showed talent as a 3-year-old and was too good fresh up at Ascot Park 4 weeks ago in her first start for this season. There is more depth to this field, but she will be fitter and has the breeding to say she will only get better this year. Stick with her. OCEAN BAY (8) was very impressive on debut, and a repeat of that effort will take her close to winning this as well. SECOND CHANCE (1) is lightly tried and has plenty of ability. Watch closely fresh up.
