Verdict

Looks the perfect race for HARRY'S YACHT (1) who gets in very well under the set weights. He was a very smart winner first up at Bendigo in BM78 company, sprinting quickly to score by 1.5 lengths. He's trialled well in the interim and gets every chance from the soft gate. Rates clear and should be winning. GROUND CONTROL (7) is coming off a dominant BM64 win at Pakenham at $1.45, leading throughout. He's lightly raced and drawn soft, respecting. PRINCE TYCOON (6) was a bit better second up at Cranbourne who probably found 1300m a touch far at Cranbourne last time. Not convinced he's made the step from 2yo company with his best performance coming on debut but this is a good race for him. KAGEMUSHA (8) has won two on the bounce impressively. This is harder but can't discount. ELONIA (10) was dominant winning her maiden fresh at Kyneton and could give a sight again.
