Looks a nice race for DARK SIMBA (13) second up off an excellent return at Caulfield, getting a long way back from the draw but finishing off well over 1400m to be beaten two lengths. It was a messy finish there but his splits were the race-fastest and 1600m here from a better gate looks perfect. SNEAKY SUNRISE (8) is a handy mare. It was a dash home in a rich mare's race at Flemington but she ran well. This looks a nice race for her with more tempo on. SOMEWHERE (9) was behind Dark Simba first up, but only a long neck off that horse and was another to come from a long way back. He'll relish a mile but he might concede a big start again. YES I KNOW (15) is lightly raced having worked home fairly fresh at Cranbourne on a day that favoured those on speed. He can improve off that. EXTREME VIRTUE (10) was solid fresh and will be fitter with each-way claims.
