SLUSH FUND (1) won at this track four starts back over the 1300m in fast time. Struggled to run the mile out when ninth in the Narromine Cup. Winning rider sticks and shouldn't have a problem coming back to the 1200m. Goes close. GOOD ONCE (4) Warwick Farm-trained gelding who strips fitter at his third run back. Peaked on the run inside the 200m when fifth over 1206m at this track. Expected to stalk the tempo and not to be underestimated. ISHIKARI (7) trained locally and didn't do a bad job when a fading fifth from the sticky draw over 1406m at this track. Leading apprentice rides and gets conditions to suit. CHICO CASINO (2) saves his best for this home track and strips fitter after tiring in the straight when eleventh over 1100m at Wellington. Winning rider goes back on for this. Each way. BOTTOM BAR (3) at his peak for this fifth up and will relish the 1200m. Can get cover from the draw and goes into the exotics.
