The feature of the day and it looks to set up nicely for BOOTS LIKE BRUCE (1) who just found the racing last campaign too strong. His recent trial suggests he's back on track and Carbery was on board for that outing. Has options from the barrier and he looks well place back to his preferred track and trip. FINAL SIREN (4) was good late in the Beaufine down the Pinjarra straight and has been back to the trials since that run 70 days ago. He was very impressive at the trials and he can be up front from the draw. Up to 1200m is a big tick and he can make his presence felt. STORMCHASER (6) flew home in the Newmarket and may have peaked on the run late in the race. Fitter for that effort and the slightly better barrier may see him a touch closer in the run. He jumped favourite there and this looks right up his alley. FAST FLICKER (8) is better than she showed in the Newmarket and is unbeaten third-up. Live chance. ROCKIN' RUPERT (5) gets one last chance third-up.
