OLAF THE SNOWMAN (8) was allowed to drift back from a low draw last time then found the line strongly to score a gutsy long neck win at this track over 1600m. This is a step up, but he's up to it. BIRD'S THE WORD (4) held on well to finish third last time out over 1400m at this track after leading for much of the way. Expected to be in this for a long way. CHANTEL (7) comes through the same race as Olaf The Snowman and was beaten less than half a length by him and she's been a regular among the placings this prep. MEMORY PARADE (1) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at this track over 1600m after being in contention on the turn, but is placed to advantage in this company and can feature in the finish. ALL GRUNT (3) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage eighth over 1600m at this track but might be worth one more chance.
