The big one of the day that brings together a handy field, several of whom have form around one another. RISSOLES (9) resumed last start over 1000m at this track and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish third, beaten just over a length by Haida Gwaii. She's twice won second-up in the past and gets Pike. SNOWDOME (1) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten 1.5 lengths, in the Listed Idyllic Prince (1300m). He could give them something to catch. There was a lot to like about the way HAIDA GWAII (11) won last start and she has a wider draw to contend with this time but does have tactical speed. GINNIVAN (5) split Haida Gwaii and Rissoles last time out, which followed a nice win, and seems to love this track with six wins from 16 starts. Just needs luck from the draw. FAST FLICKER (10) is twice a winner second-up and looks advantaged by the draw.
