The well-bred KAAZI (3) is in a leading barn and he improved sharply at his second start winning a Bairnsdale Maiden over this distance. He raced forward and will be better for the outing. This doesn't look too onerous, and it won't surprise if he takes the next step. OUR LONE STAR (6) missed narrowly here on the heavy and then came back and was plainer. Maps well and Neindorf goes aboard. Will enjoy the conditions, and will be tougher to beat today. MR BREAKDANCE (7) spiked his figures again placing at Geelong. He can settle closer today and will be fitter again. He can make the finish. MOSAMOUR (11) is an improver from the Waller yard. The Maiden win was good but she found metro grade too tough after. She will keep improving and has to be kept onside.
