HUON (1) did what he often does last start and won first-up, toughing it out over 1100m at the Kensington track in heavy conditions. Only two placings when second-up but he stays at his pet trip and is drawn to advantage. Can win again. SHALAA GOLD (6) added to his frustrating run of minor prizes when edged out in a thriller over 1000m at Warwick Farm a fortnight ago. Races well here and a firmer surface should help. Looms as the obvious danger. MIDNIGHT DYNAMITE (2) is back from a 161-day spell. Recorded some impressive results early last prep including a 1.3 length third behind Private Harry and a placing in the Listed Gosford Guineas. Trialling well and can give this a mighty shake. BRAVEHEART (4) has been freshened up by Peter Snowden after a sound second over 1000m at Warwick Farm seven weeks ago. One for the trifectas and first fours.
