Very open affair. TISHMAN (1) has been brought north by the Price/Kent stable after a couple of modest efforts to kick off this prep. Bolted in third-up over a staying trip at Sale last prep. Needs a bit of luck slotting in from the visitor's draw but if things go right he can take this out. DORADUS (3) contested a similar race here on New Year's Day and nearly stole it after leading until the dying stages. Has been up for a while but continues to perform. Sure to give them something to catch again. DEALT (11) worked home late but was never a threat last time out over the Randwick mile. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and drops back to midweek company. New to this distance but it looks a nice fit now. DE LOUVIERE (17) was caught on a limb for the entire trip so his recent failure here is worth overlooking. His good form at the provincials prior to that will measure up. Lightly raced maiden KUMBAYA (16) from the Waller yard is racing out of her class but shows staying promise.
