Irish point winner who went the right way in 3 hurdle starts for Seamus Mullins, nudged out for an 8-length success in a Fontwell novice in late-May. Booking of Sean Bowen catches the eye on first start for up-and-coming yard, and he looks a likely improver switched to a handicap/longer trip here.

Stratford bumper winner who finished third in fairly useful handicap at Newcastle last October. Back on song on first start in a 0-100 when seeing off Masterminding by 6½ lengths over C&D last month. Isn't fully exposed, however, he's up 8 lb and both career wins have come on good (rain forecast).

Forward-going type who bounced back to form with victories at Market Rasen/Fakenham in May. Unconsidered in the betting when narrowly defeated in his hat-trick bid at Market Rasen (21f) latest. Up 3 lb but better than ever so far this summer and yard continues in fine form.

Lightly-raced filly with German middle-distance pedigree. Has proved consistent rather than progressive, finishing runner-up in Ludlow novice on final run for Jamie Snowden in May. Returns over significantly longer trip on handicap debut for a yard that is no stranger to success with new recruits.

Won by a wide margin on heavy ground here before finishing close fourth in this corresponding event 12 months ago. Looks every bit as good as a veteran, finishing with running left over C&D last month. Had a hard race (beaten 9½ lengths) over a longer trip here on Saturday, though.

Quirky sort who's done all his winning at Hexham/Market Rasen. Steady pace put paid to his chances at Market Rasen last time (won the corresponding race off 3 lb lower in 2025). Remains potentially well handicapped on the pick of last season's form.

Won a 2m Tipperary maiden hurdle last May. Hasn't offered much since returning from 11-month absence, latterly back hurdling on final start for Henry de Bromhead. Now tried over a significantly longer trip, though probably too high in the weights for new connections (bought for only £800).

Frustrating sort who placed in a higher grade at Kelso last season. Hasn't fired more recently, though is on a dangerous mark if reviving on second start following a breathing operation.

Veteran who showed plenty of ability remains when third at Hexham on return. Failed to come on for that run over C&D last month, though, and likely to fall short again here.

Modest 7f Flat winner. Caused a surprise (25/1) when successful in race run to suit over 17f course novice in late-June. Subsequent effort on handicap debut here suggests that was probably something of a fluke, and she's a doubtful stayer over this significantly longer trip.
