MONARCH EXPRESS (10) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage fifth over 1430m at Grafton. Top-three prospects. THIEM (15) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fourth over 1200m at Grafton. Was outdashed but got going late and the extra ground looks a big plus. Well placed and is among the chances. BIANCO NERO (16) didn't give her rivals a sniff last start at Inverell when leading all the way. This is tougher but she deserves safe keeping.
