TOO DARN DISCREET was brave last start, only to be beaten by a short margin at this track. Before that, she displayed her improvement at Flemington, tearing down a decent field. She profiles well for a Heatherlie Stakes. BRAYDEN STAR finished midfield last start in a resuming run, but is capable of much better than that, and he can show that in this. EL ROCKO (12) won last start at this track, bolting away with a front-running tactics and holding on in a narrow finish. He can win again, especially with the rain. WHISKY ON THE HILL (19) scratched from the opener to run in this tougher assignment, hinting that the stable thinks he's going well. Ticks a few boxes and is not to be discounted.
