VIVID SUN (6) is unbeaten from two starts, resuming with an eye-catching win at Sandown Hillside over 1300m. She sat back off a strong tempo and went straight past her rivals in the straight to win well. No doubt she'll get even further but tipping she's awfully hard to hold out again. Respecting LATHLAIN (10) at the early double figure quote. She was slowly away, came widest on the turn and recorded sharp late splits to win narrowly on debut at Seymour, running a better overall speed figure than RUSKA ROMA (8) on the same card. Ruska Roma did lead easily at $1.45 and will appreciate more ground as well. Both can win, as can another maiden winner CHATEAU EZE (12) who was dominant at Benalla, starting $1.85 and scoring by 3.5 lengths. By Frankel, she should only improve over more ground. SPICY LU (4) got well back in the G2 Furious Stakes fresh but did enough late and can settle much closer here.
