The G1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes where ANGEL CAPITAL (9) looks clearly the horse to beat off a huge win first up at Moonee Valley. He'd always been a talented three-year-old but he destroyed his rivals in fast time at his first run for the Waller yard there and 1400m now looks ideal. Lane is able to ride at 53.5kg and with a back to follow in the straight, expect him to go right on by once more. SEPALS (16) had been all-in favourite for this until Angel Capital ran. His win first up over this route was dominant, albeit at BM100 level. Gets in on the minimum and with a good ride he'll be hard to beat. ANOTHER WIL (1) was poor as favourite in the G1 Memsie Stakes fresh but has to be respected back to handicap grade, even when giving them weight. ZOU SENSATION (17) was behind Angel Capital last time but 1400m suits him better and he maps beautifully. IS IT ME (12) needs to find his best but his win at the end of last campaign sees him very well in with 52kg if he can find it.
