Tricky finish. Expecting GILDED WATER (8) to have plenty of fans. He's a progressive stayer who came to Australia and won a couple of BM78's in good style. His return here was rock solid over 1800m with 61.5kg and he should be fitter. With his upside, he looks the hardest to beat. MR VERSE (10) is one that could really improve again getting to 2000m. He only won a BM70 by a neck when last seen at Sandown Hillside but came from a long way back in a strongly run 1600m to win there. He's progressive and could jump out of the ground late. KINGS VALLEY (5) has been rock solid in two runs back from a spell, only edged out late at Moonee Valley over 1600m second up. He should be peaking here out to his best trip. WHISKY ON THE HILL (3) hasn't been far away in two runs back from a spell and could be a sneaky improver out to 2000m now. LINCOLN ROCKS (9) should land in a good spot and can run well.
