JUST A JOURNEY (3) looks the one to beat. She was given a great ride in front by McDonald last start in the G2 Edward Manifold but just got nabbed on the line having won well at Canterbury prior. Now up to 2000m, the feeling is that the trip will prove no issue for this daughter of Justify and she'll likely land in front fairly comfortably again. YUM (2) won in fast time two back before an even run in the Edward Manifold when striking a slower race shape, doing enough there in sixth. Now she gets to 2000m which should suit much better. JUST KICK (6) was a forgivable run in the Edward Manifold when back in the field. She's bred to stay and can improve. GRAND OMAHA (8) won her maiden quite well at Kilmore last time out, showing a good turn of foot from on the pace with gaps behind. The form from her maiden run is quite good too, she can measure up. AFTER SUMMER (5) won a ridiculously slow Oaks Trial at Flemington which is no real guide, but she can't really be written off.
