HOT BLUE (9) is the one with upside that looks well placed in this. He controlled the race on debut at Seymour and proved too strong before another good effort at Mornington when beaten under a length. He should continue to progress and maps for every chance. PRINCE OF BROOKY (7) broke through for a dominant maiden win here when last seen at his sixth time of asking, coming away to score by five lengths. He can be ridden aggressively from out wide and measure up. WACO KID (11) is another off an easy maiden win, scoring at $1.90 at Wangaratta. Now he's found his distance range he can go on with it. MAXXI BON (6) doesn't win out of turn but is going okay and has place claims. MASTERFUL (1) would be a hope on best form and could be an improver.
