COUNT IDA (2) has only found one better at his two runs this time in and connections could not have hoped for a more suitable third-up option. Should be at peak fitness for this and draws to take control of the race early in the piece. HAATHER (8) has also had a couple of runs back and while he doesn't boast a couple of second placings like Count Ida there has been merit to the performances and there doesn't appear as much depth here. HIDDEN WITNESS (9) is back off a disappointing run on the synthetic but only needs to run up to the fifth placing at Geelong the start prior to go close here. MELISSA KATE (3) has been knocking on the door and will give herself every chance on-speed. DON'T TELL SHERIFF (6) is an experienced campaigner who will find this race more to his liking than some other recent outings.
