PARETO (5) just missed the placings at Eagle Farm when resuming before hitting the frame at Ipswich last time out. Looks to be working up to another victory and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. The well-related FIELD OF MYRTLE (7) (half to 2xG3 winner and G2 placed Holyfield) goes well for hoop Mallyon who has a win and two placings from just four steers. Drawn to get a gun run in transit from the inside marble and has the class to take care of this field. DEFIANT SPIRIT (3) will be rock-hard fit for this and gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim. Sure to take plenty of stopping. SHOT OF WHISKEY (6) will find this easier than recent Saturday metro efforts and looks one for the exotics players. LAYDOWNLILY (4) is a bit hit or miss but is more than capable enough on her day. Capable of a strong showing on best form.
