Much thinner field after the scratchings but very little between half a dozen of them. STROMBOLI DELIGHT (11) raced with a sit here fresh and was poised in the straight but ran out of condition. Fitter again and down on the minimum expected to improve sharply. TINTAURA (7) is yet to place in four tries but is fitter for two runs in and did find the line well latest over 1200m on the Sunshine Coast. Looks suited out in trip again and should be winding up strongly. SWAG (2) resumed from a long break here over 1200m and found the line strongly to just miss. That was her first try in Queensland and will be better for it. Tricky draw but stable in great form and best figures stack up. STABILIZER (6) is fitter for two runs back and finished just behind Swag last time at massive odds. Fitter again and among the chances. REGAL RINA (10) was well fancied last time after a good debut but could manage only seventh in the same race as Stromboli Delight. Gets chance to atone.
