Good race and plenty of pace. NOW IS THE HOUR (5) has been in great form, getting off the mark with a big maiden win fresh before a narrow loss latest. Draws to advantage this time and off the inside will take catching. RUINS OF ROME (1) is a talented type resuming from a long spell. Tackled stakes class over the carnival but comes back to the right level for the return and presents on the back of two trials. Will be winding up late. BLITZUM (4) ran on hard fresh at the Gold Coast to just miss and can only be fitter. Looks tough to stop again. GORBACHEV (6) also resumed in that same race at the Gold Coast and was a narrow third. Has a low draw and will push forward. ABENDER (2) went to the paddock a maiden winner and has plenty of upside. Will give a start but charge late.
