Good race for the girls. BALANCE THE BOOKS (3) has been taken along very patiently but turned in an eye-catching debut win early in the winter. Has been given plenty of time but presents on the back of two trials, winning the latest (Autumngirl was second). Expected to go right on with it. SEQUEL (9) was midfield in a hot form race in heavy ground at Newcastle then shipped north and finally off the mark with her maiden here. Can measure up again. AUTUMNGIRL (2) was tackling stakes class before a break but has loads of ability and returns after trialling well and has the blinkers added. Hard to beat this company. MEHRETU (1) was good fresh up here without a lot of luck and probably should have won. Got too far back latest and worth another chance. EVERY HEART (6) has been winding up strongly and can run on into the finish.
