OUROBOROS (4) scratched from an earlier event to line up here at the end of the day. He went down by a narrow margin when resuming and will have derived great benefit from that hit-out. Can go one better against this lot. CASPERNOVA (5) loves it here on his home surface with two wins and three placings from six spins. Hard to knock on his recent performances and dropping back to 1200m isn't an issue. Can continued his strong run of recent form. NSW galloper MONEY TEAM (2) has only missed a drum once in six starts over this trip and can run a big race while fresh. SHOW ME MERCY (10) was good first-up on a softer deck here but usually performs better with a firmer track like he gets today. Can make an impression.
