GOLDEN WINGS (1) is unbeaten at the trials, and has finished runner-up in both of his race day starts, including his fresh-up effort here 17 days ago, when finishing a neck behind the winner. Everything is in his favour here, and he is ready to win. NAVY ENSIGN (8) won a trial before making an impressive debut here just over 6 weeks ago when finishing runner-up. He closed off his effort strongly, and with the natural improvement that is expected second up, he can go one better, especially with the advantage of the pole position. FLEETING STAR (12) tried hard second up here when finishing third off a wide gate. He also cast a shoe that day, which would not have helped either. He gets a favourable swing in his draw and is another with each-way claims. ARGO (9) was fourth against most of these last start, and will be peaking third up from a spell. He has scope and won't be in this grade for long. THAT'S GOLD (7) was third fresh up, and when he puts it all together, he will win races.
