Like the set up for FEDERER (14) who has been campaigning in Sydney this time in. He's been getting closer with each run off a long break, beaten a long neck at Randwick last time out. He's bred to stay being out of Caulfield Cup winner Jameka and gets to 2000m for the first time with Shinn booked from a low draw. AZTEC STATE (1) had things against at Caulfield second up when too far back from a wide draw. The first up win was outstanding but he likely gives Federer a decent head start with an inexperienced apprentice on. CATANI GARDENS (12) has won two of three this time in and should take up a prominent role from the inside gate. PARADISE STORM (9) is coming along well and ready to peak now.
