SOMETHINGSOSTRONG (8) was big odds first up at Seymour but out-ran her price with an eyecatching effort from well back in the field, surging late to finish a narrow fourth. She'll relish the extra furlong here and rates highly with natural fitness improvement to come. FASHIONABLE LADY (9) put in a much better effort at Seymour out to 1400m last start, battling on well for a distant fourth. More ground again here should suit and she can take catching. EL TORO MACHO (1) has been okay his past two since switching from NSW. He had his chance up on speed at Mornington over this trip latest and faded but not badly. This isn't the deepest race. TITAN'S SPIRIT (3) was just fair last time at Seymour but the return was good and he can bounce back third up. CRACKERJACK HATCH (5) could sneak into the minors.
