SAFE HUSTLE (6) turned his form right around last start with an all-the-way victory over the 1110m journey, holding on to win in a photo finish. He was a $15 chance there but turned in a strong figure to get the job done. Back up in trip today, but drops in weight and can repeat the dose. BOLTA (3) made it back-to-back wins here over 1413m before going for a spell. He's trialled well this time in work and while he hasn't won first-up in the past, he hasn't been far away. Needs some luck from the draw but bringing up the hat-trick on resumption wouldn't surprise. DARK MIST (8) was last at the races when she finished eighth over 1600m at Carnarvon on June 27. Has to be respected. LEONARDO DA GREY (7) improved sharply last time out to score by 2 lengths over 1110m at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
