RAPID CHEVAL (6) raced in Melbourne in Group and Stakes company before spelling and was expected to win off a wide gate at the Sunshine Coast first-up, but pulled up with an issue. She's back after 15 days, suggesting all is in order and she's proven second-up. Finally draws a low gate, and on song she'd be too good. FAMILY OF LEAGUE (5) has threatened twice since her all the way win here. She's likely to push forward and control the race and will take pegging back. WATERMELON (2) deserved the synthetic win and three back posted a stronger number in a 70 at Doomben on turf. Gets in well with the 3kg claim and deserves plenty of consideration. LARIDAE (11) is also racing well enough, but will need plenty of luck from an outside barrier. IHAVESEENTHELIGHT (8) is in good hands and can build on the easy Maiden win on the poly, when he led.
