BRAVE ETOILE (7) resumes. Finished just 1.3 lengths behind the highly regarded Cherry Bomshell on debut last prep over this distance at Eagle Farm before failing at her only other run. Back this prep with blinkers on. Brings superior form to this race and if forward enough she should be winning. XPLAIN THIS (12) led for the judge but found one better in the closing stages on debut last start over 1100m at Gatton. Better for the experience and over a slightly shorter trip should prove tough to catch. BOOM CHIKA WOW (2) looked a chance but just missed in a busy finish on debut recently at Rockhampton. Hard to line up but likely to be competitive. VINCLEY (17) has not raced since leading but tiring late to finish fourth as a $2.30 chance on debut over 1200m at this track in April. Three recent trials should have him right up to the mark. SWEET REBELLION (8) is a slick filly back from a 27-week break. Placed at both runs to date and should give a good account again.
