FAIYUM is bred to be useful and is well on the way to living up to her pedigree, having won her first two starts before chasing home Barnavara in the Blue Wind Stakes at Naas in June. That form looks all the better in light of the winner's recent Group 2 success and, with the promise of better to come, Faiyum is taken to resume winning ways here. Purple Lily failed to fire on her reappearance at Roscommon, but will be a big threat if able to get back on track. Higher Leaves is third choice.
