TIS NO MAN (4) created a big impression on the Canberra Acton two back, when scoring by a big space over 1900m. Showed good early dash before fading in the straight with a poor eighth over 2000m at Bathurst after pulling up with a slow recovery rate. Since ran eighth in a 900m Acton trial. Worth another chance in this easier contest. FIRST DAY (1) closed off well with the 61kg when second over this track and trip two back. Then boxed on steadily with a plugging fifth over 2000m at Warrnambool in BM62 grade. Will roll forward from the good gate and can take a hand in the finish. MISS DEFY (8) stepped out to the 2010m third up when she chipped away late to secure fifth at Moruya. Gets a much better run today and not without top three claims. WIN THE DAY (5) winkers go on for this with the claim after he faded in the run when ninth over 1600m at Goulburn. Comes back a few levels today and worth another chance. FERRARI MAN (7) returned to form on the Wagga track and gets map favours today.
