This looks wide open and with that in mind a chance is taken on IMPRESSOR. Phil Makin's 9-y-o wasn't at his best in a first-time visor here 12 days ago but the refitting of cheekpieces/return to soft ground are both likely catalysts for a better showing and he could well be ready to capitalise on a much-reduced mark. Big Apple Jack is a danger following his recent Carlisle second, with last year's runner-up Lumenbourg and course specialist Iris Dancer others fancied to feature.
