AZONTO (1) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 1600m at this track. Has a win and three placings at this journey from six starts. Sure to be putting in the big strides late again. LIGHT FORCE (2) was given a short break after winning over 1430m at this track. Kept ticking over since with a trial win at Hobart. Has definite claims at his best. REGAL HUNTER (3) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 2 lengths, over 1350m at Devonport Synthetic after he got a long way back. Has further improvement to come and can turn things around. SIR JAG (6) has ability and is solid top-three hope.
