BAYSIDE (4) is a handy galloper with a good record course and distance and is going better than form suggests. Not far away latest here and will be winding up hard at the finish. AZONTO (1) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 1600m at this track. Has a win and three placings at this journey from six starts. Sure to be putting in the big strides late again. LIGHT FORCE (2) was given a short break after winning over 1430m at this track. Kept ticking over since with a trial win at Hobart. Has definite claims at his best. REGAL HUNTER (3) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 2 lengths, over 1350m at Devonport Synthetic after he got a long way back. Has further improvement to come and can turn things around. SIR JAG (6) has ability and is solid top-three hope.
