MISSIE LEE (3) returned in good order with a strong second at Hawkesbury over this journey and should only improve with that hit-out under her belt. Hard to hold out. EX WIFE (1) resumes after more than a year off but has trialled three times to be ready. Showed promising signs on debut when a Wyong placegetter. Could need the run but must be taken seriously. CHEEKY SORT (5) debuts off an impressive trial win at Kembla Grange. Drawn to get all the favours and can make an immediate impact. STAR VENTURE (8) finds it tough to get off the mark but returns and looks to have come back in good order, fitter for two solid hit-outs and gets Clark piloting from a favourable draw. Is certainly one to consider. NOBLE RUBY (7) is also another consistent type returning and has the speed to take up a handy spot. Capable of running a big race fresh.
