FERNWEH (4) worked to find the lead from a wide draw then dug deep under pressure only to miss narrowly last start over this distance at Warwick Farm. Gets in with 2.5kgs less under today's scale. Cherry ripe at the third run back and looks the one to beat back at the provincials. PIMLICO (12) started favourite but was denied in a tight finish over this track and trip last time out. Coming along nicely and with a little further improvement can take this out. The interesting runner is debutant PATONGA (10) from the Waller stable. By Written Tycoon from the dual Group 1 winning sprinter In Her Time. Trialled well at Randwick recently and looks ready to hit the ground running. CONVERT (1) failed here at today's journey at his only appearance to date back in June. Too bad to be true that day and a recent sound trial at this track suggests he can improve. Gai and Adrian's first starter REVOLUTIONARY STAR (13) won a recent trial by a good space and looks to have ability.
