A good contest. MASTRETTA (8) is a leader who seeks the hat-trick off a CL4 with this track/trip backed off the map. This is a step up, but she draws well and sits on the limit. She's capable of taking the next step. CRACK THE SHUTTERS (7) was spelled off a 3L defeat in Stakes grade over this distance and was a big trial winner before winning a CL1 here first-up bet deep into the red. She was a big Hobart Maiden winner her only second-up outing and the premier jockey stays aboard. Finds stronger but she has more to give and is promising. FURNEAUX (2) is also racing well enough to feature. He will jump and run from the inside barrier and the 2kg claim is handy. STONE COLD STUNNER (6) resumes and has raced well at Group level. May find this a touch short but she's placed in two recent trials and the betting will be key.
