Solid contest. NITE CHILL (6) heavily supported at her second race start when a gritty on pace second over 1000m at Ballina. Maps well and is capable of going one better. AUSTRALASIA (8) finds a winnable contest first-up after running some respectable races in town last campaign. Struck trouble in the run and especially in the straight when seventh over 1350m at Doomben. Wasn't asked to do much when fifth in a recent trial over 1000m at Ballina. Look for her launching late. CALL TO COURAGE (9) sat on the speed at her first run back before fading over the closing stages when third over 1115m at Grafton. In a leading yard and not to be underestimated. JOANJETT (10) is a well-bred filly who disappointed on debut when she faded quickly to finish fifth over 1115m at Grafton. Has a host of gear changes and can turn things around quickly.
