Went back from the draw and returned good closing splits when a close-up fourth over 1420m at Grafton. Poorly drawn again and will keep improving as she gets out further in trip. IN THE FINE PRINT (5) improving gelding with the two wins from his last four starts. Launched late when a narrow winner over 1612m at Coffs Harbour. Apprentice goes on today and gets his chance from the low gate. WHAT DID YOU SAY (12) drifted back further than anticipated and was never comfortable on the Gold Coast Poly track when seventh over 1540m. Maps well and goes into the exotics.
