Genuine sprinter RIDEAU (5) is back from a six-week let-up. Last appeared when beaten a long neck in a similar race here as warm favourite. Has thrived since switching to this stable two runs back and can keep the ball rolling. NORTHUMBRIA (3) is in career-best form. Went straight to the lead and was never under threat last time out over this track and trip. Carries the same weight today after the claim and a repeat performance is not out of the question. BOOM BOOM RAY (7) has switched stables since a respectable fifth at Ipswich just ten days ago. Draws a nice gate and won't find this as tough so he is right in contention. RAETIHI (4) drops in grade today after a solid effort in a Class 6 over more ground here last start. Not badly treated after the allowance and in this company is a definite contender. TO LOVE SOMEBODY (10) was no match for Northumbria here last time but he is rarely far away in races like this so keep him safe.
