This race hinges on ANGEL CAPITAL (3) who resumes for the Waller yard. He's a talented entire who has been held back from the races a few times since coming from the Clinton McDonald yard as a Group 2 winner. No doubt he's the class horse in the field and if he's ready to go he's a deserving favourite. ZOU SENSATION (2) is in flying form of late having won his past three. He's been just as effective over 1400m as he has at this trip and off a 35 day freshen he should be plenty sharp enough. RED HOT NICC (5) loves The Valley with 4 wins from 5 starts over this route, far too good with 61.5kg in BM84 company last time out. Plummets in weight here for a crack at listed company but is hard to knock, especially given his racing pattern. COMPELLING TRUTH (1) is going well, only caught late in the Ramornie Handicap at Grafton last time. Big weight but he'll give a sight. THE PENDRAGON (6) has the ability to figure if he can find his best first up.
