KASTUN STAR (7) went close at Moe and then delivered an easy Maiden win this track/trip for the speed. The local has plenty of scope for improvement, and Ben Melham is a key jockey engagement. LADY POTATO HEAD (8) rates similarly on her second-up win here this grade/trip. She can build on that, and from a handy gate, the 2kg claimer can give her the run of the race. SHAALUTE (15) is in a sharp local barn and seeks the hat-trick off a dominant win on the synthetic. The 3kg claimer has to manage the outside gate, but he has gate speed and is likely to be just as good on turf. OUR COUVER (2) has been racing well enough in stronger races, but has a wide barrier to manage today. The 3kg claim brings him into it, but he's going to need luck, as well.
