Tricky race with so many first starters and the likelihood of a rain-affected track. Happy to side with the raced brigade and be with FREEDOM FLAME (6) here. Connections thought enough of her to try her in a G3 on debut as a two-year-old last season. She wasn't disgraced and her pedigree suggests she will improve this season. She's drawn to get the ideal run and she will be in the finish. MILOS FILOS (9) comes over from Victoria and can improve at her second start. She's jumped out well on a heavy track. There was a lot to like about the first-up run of OUI OUI MA CHERIE (12) and she's another that can improve into the money here. She's quirky but she's drawn to settle handy. SKADOOSH (13) looks a great each-way chance after a solid debut, while stablemate INTELLECTUAL (3) has caught the eye at the trials and must be respected on debut. He looks the best of the debutants.
