Verdict

Great race with several form lines converging. CONCORDE (8) ran below par last time but his prior form was super. He gets in with no weight after the 3kg claim and he loves rain-affected tracks. He looks one of the top seeds. How can you not love FAST BUBBLES (3), who is chasing five wins in a row. His confidence is high and he's been kept fit with a recent trial. MERCHANT BOSS (4) bolted in last start and go back-to-back. He's drawn well and has tactical speed so he can settle in the first three or four. KOMACHI (9) looks on the cusp of another win. The inside draw is potentially a disadvantage for him but he's versatile on all surfaces so he won't mind the forecast rain. FINE FUTURE (2) is a Stakes performer that looks to have returned well. Expect improvement and he can easily run into the money.
