TALISAY (8) has always looked a nice horse, and she showed that she's back better than ever with a brilliant first-up win. This is harder, but she's sure to have improved and will take some beating again. Her best form is on soft track, which she's likely to find on Saturday. TROPICAL HOUSE (10) looms the main danger. She's a progressive mare that looked good winning last start. Milnes jumps off to stick with Talisay, so that might be the lead. MAKALU (4) can run in the money on his best Victorian form. WINE BARRON (5) is quirky, but he's capable of winning a race like this if he turns up in his best form. FLYWAY (11) is another that often runs well without winning. He's worth some consideration for quaddies and exotics.
